12 Traveling to Bulgaria

All passengers (adults and children from 12 years) must perform a COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) PCR test, no earlier than 72 hours before the flight or rapid antigen test (RAT) performed no earlier than 48 hours before the flight. It is necessary to have a paper original laboratory document in English confirming a negative test result.

COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) PCR or rapid antigen (RAT) test is not required:

• For passengers with a document certifying that the person has been fully vaccinated with COVID-19 vaccine* and a period of 14 days has elapsed since the last vaccination. It is necessary to have a paper original document in English. The document must contain the names of the person written in Latin, according to the identity document with which he travels, date of birth, dates on which the corresponding doses of vaccine were given, trade name and batch number of the vaccine against COVID-19, name of the manufacturer / the holder of the marketing authorization, the country from which it was issued and the name of the issuing competent authority;
• For passengers with a document confirming that the person has recovered from COVID-19, when the diagnosis was confirmed on a positive result of a COVID-19 PCR test or RAT rapid antigen test from 15th to 180th day before arrival in Bulgaria. The period is calculated from the date of the test recorded in the document. It is necessary to have a paper original document in English. The document must contain the name of the person according to the identity document with which he travels, data about the medical institution that performed the test (name, address or other contact details), date of the test for COVID-19, written in Latin method (PCR or RAT) and positive result (Positive).

• COVID-19 test is not mandatory but is recommended for Bulgarian citizens and persons with a residence permit in the Republic of Bulgaria and their family members. Passengers arriving without COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) PCR or rapid antigen (RAT)  test will be required to a 10-day quarantine.

All travelers arriving to Bulgaria must submit a completed and printed Declaration of Risk Awareness and Acceptance.

Please note that passengers will not be accepted on the flight and GetJet Airlines is not responsible for the consequences if you do not have all the necessary documents.
